Jane Cook, beloved wife of Charles and mother of Holly and Louis, died at St.Elizabeth's on March 13, 2014. She greatly appreciated the compassionate care she received in her final days and we have created this Tribute Fund to enable her friends to remember her in a tangible way which will benefit other future patients. As more and more of us come to live with longterm terminal illness, so demand grows for the high standard of palliative care exemplified by St.Elizabeth's. You could say that donating to Jane's Fund is thus enlightened self-interest as well as a way of remembering a woman whose personality enriched all of us who knew her. Three-quarters of the annual costs of running St.E's, or around £6m pa, has to be raised from the public to enable St.E's to continue to function. Please help us make a dent in this figure.
